GizmoCM is a complete
condition monitoring system. This
application is designed to monitor, collect
and log temperature and vibration data.
It is capable of reading sensor data and
logging it to file, outputting the data
directly to a html page, graph and trend
data from the sensor logs, and e-mail or
text message when an alarm situation occurs.
And includes a completely web based user
interface making remote access and control
simple. This
complete package gives the user an easy to
use interface, temperature and vibration
logging, graphing, historical views, and
alarm e-mail/text messages. The
interface allows the user to name each
sensor and give it a alarm set level.
The user can then define things like e-mail
settings, where the data should output,
setup sensors, run the monitoring scripts
and view data logs. The program will
automatically use up to 10 temperature
sensors and 4 vibration sensors.

ReaderBoard is a PHP application to display alternating
messages on large screen televisions or monitors. It
can handle an infinite number of messages, messages can be
configured, enabled and disabled from the admin page.
It consists of an admin page for configuration, and a
display page to display on reader board monitor.
Reader boards are
expensive, and these days large screen
televisions and monitors are cheap. By
using a cheap computer, and a cheap flat
screen tv, you can create a simple reader
board to display rotating messages.
Could be used in stores, display windows,
industrial plant floors, break rooms, ect....
Can use single server with multiple installs
that feed several remote displays. Can
configure message display times, number of
messages, enable and disable each message.

Remote Temperature Monitoring Solution |

This project started as a way to come up with a temperature monitoring solution for sawmill
equipment such as bearings, hydraulic units, plc cabinets ect..
The program had to monitor the temp, notify people of
problems, store data for trending changes and integrate into their
current internal web site. In the end we came up with software
and hardware solutions to make a very suitable remote monitoring
system. We created a complete package
that gives the user an easy to use
interface, temperature logging, graphing,
web page output, and alarm e-mail/text
messages. The interface allows the
user to name each sensor and give it a alarm
set level. The user can then define
things like e-mail settings, where the data
should output, setup sensors, run the
monitoring scripts and view data logs.
All the data is sent to an "output "
directory where each sensor has a temp log,
a combined sensor html output, a combined
sensor log and graph. The program will
